Agents

5min

The main collection of Digital Collectables for Cthulhu Awakens are the Agents. Players build a team of Agents to fight the evils of Cthulhu and his minions. These digital assets are owned by the player and are seamlessly integrated into the game. They can be used anywhere that the regular Agents can be used. The primary utility of an Digital Collectable Agent is to take them into battle, survive and level them up.

EVERY AGENT IS 100% Unique. Not just their stats, metadata and abilities, but the actual visual portrait itself. NO TWO NFTs are identical and never will be. Learn more about the creation process HERE

F2P Agents

When any Player first launches CA, they will be given (10) free Agents. These Agents are NOT NFTs, they are 'F2P Agents'. This means they are not on the blockchain and cannot be resold in public markeplaces. They are just for playing Cthulhu Awakens.

Digital Collectible Agents

At some point, users may decide to convert their F2P Agents to Digital Collectible Agents. This is done through 'Crafting'. The three primary methods of obtaining Agent Digital Collectibles are Crafting, Purchase or Rental.

Newly Minted This image shows a newly minted Agent's 'hidden' talents/abilities.

When an agent is initially purchased from the mint, their Abilities & Talents are unknown. They are still a student at Miskatonic University and their powers are still hidden. These "unopened' Agents can be sold with these attributes still hidden (think an unopened pack of Magic cards). This Agent is said to be in an "Dormant" state. Once an Agent is played in the game for the first time, he or she is 'Awakened', and their abilities will be revealed and known to all who view the asset on marketplaces etc.

Future Design This image shows an upcoming feature where we will support 'dynamic Agents' where the Agent's level is displayed and will change as players level-up the Agent. Once Live, this will be visible from the game and the marketplaces. We intend to retroactively support all existing Agents that do not have this feature initially (G1).
