Digital Collectibles

We believe in an individual's fundamental right to own property and that includes digital assets. Our Digital Collectibles are NFT's "under the hood". We use the terms interchangably throughout the documentation.

An Digital Collectible is just a digital item you can own, sell, use or trade.

When you aquire a Digital Collectible within Cthulhu Awakens (CA), you are actually purchasing a VIP ticket to an amazing journey. A journey both within the world of CA that will provide years of amazing content AND a journey out here IRL, as a member of a passionate community of true gamers, crypto bros and fans of the darker aspects of existence....

Our team views NFTs as a fundamental building-block in the emerging web3 internet. Just as capitalism itself relies on property rights to function, NFTs allow individuals to 'own' digital goods in an increasingly immersive internet economy. Our goal is to provide maximum value to our players and especially to NFT holders through a variety of means (see Utility).

We believe our Digital Collectibles are both a short-term and long-term investments. For the long-term, we will continue to offer value to members of our community who hold them, even extending their in-game utility to future titles/games.

We have a wide range of Digital Collectibles for our community. We find it's helpful to divide them into two categories: UTILITY and ART. The 'Utility' all have an external value besides the NFT itself. They DO something or facilate certain accomplishments. For now, the only Utility NFTs are Agents, the main characters you play the game with. ART Collectibles are beautiful images & movies that do not have functionality outside of their own existence.

All Digital Collectables are organized into Collections. Agents are UTILITY and Insanitorium and Mythopedia are both ART. Here is a view from the Member Inventory page:
