ART Collectibles

1min

We define "Art Collectables" as Non-Utility digital assets that you own and exist on the blockchain.

These Digital Collectibles (actually NFTs) are not usable in-game, but they do have intrinsic collectable value. They do not have actual functionality within the game itself but were created as part of the game development process.

Collection 1: Mythopedia - Still Images - Concept Art (Final) - Self explanitory; these Collectibles are from the game's development and represent final, approved artwork that the 3D artists will use to create the game. Usually beautiful full-color paintings/illustrations.

Category 2: Insanitorium - Video Assets - Lore - These are short videos showcasing something related to the lore/story of Cthulhu Awakens.

Category 3: Concept Art (Rough Sketches, WIPs) - The art department creates countless sketches to explore ideas. Many of these never make it to 'Final Concept Art' stage, but are nonetheless fascinating and beautiful. These Collectibles give owners a chance look into the creation process. These images are from the game's development and are part of the artistic process of designing the creatures, the artifacts and the levels etc. Can be rough sketches or final work. They may or may-not be in the full game.

The first batch of Art Collectibles will be Category 1 & Category 2, and have limited runs of 2000 to 5000 of each image/creature/video.

We will release multiple generations, with the very first Generation 1 having (6) creatures.

Category 4: Marketing Imagery / Art - These art assets were generated for the marketing efforts. Can be anything from ads to posters to imagery associated with merchandise etc. Some of the most compelling imagery in CA.

Category 5: Elder Gods  -  This is a special limited run of the 'Known Cthulhu Gods'. (depending on legal) we will attempt to create artwork of all the great Elder gods from the pantheon. (stretch goal: these NFT visuals are actually dynamic. It's dark, but different parts of the creature are visible at different times....)

Category 6: 3D printed model - Extreme limited editions; if you own this NFT you will get a 3D model of the object represented in the NFT graphic.

Category 7: Soundtracks / music - You can purchase royalty-free original music created for the game. If you purchase an artist-submitted track (see above Sonic Creep), part of these proceeds will return to the original creator. What a great way to support our community!
