Lifecycle
Our Digital Collectibles go through a kind of 'lifecycle'.
Phase 1: Mint Purchase
When a Digital Collectible is purchased at a mint, it will initially appear in your inventory as Unflipped (see backside). Nothing about the item will be known (except which Collection) and it will display the 'back' only. Each Collection (Agents, Insanitorium & Mythopedia) all have unique backs & symbols.
Phase 2: Flipped / Dormant - (Agent Only) After a short period of time (usually 24 hours), your new Unflipped Digital Collectible will be 'Flipped'.
For Agents: At this point, they are in a state we call 'Dormant' but the Agent is alive, graduated Miskatonic University and most of the visuals can be viewed. What you still wont know are:
- Agent Abilities not known
- Which Game Extras (see below) each Agent has are visible in the Dormant state, but the actual amounts of each Extra wont be visible until the Agent is 'Awakened'.
For Art Collectibles, they simply flip and all information becomes available to the owner.
Phase 3: Awakened - (Agent Only) Agent Digital Collectibles are Flipped into their Dorman state, you can 'Awaken' them by playing the game with that specific Agent. At this point all their attributes become known.
Phase 4 (optional): (Agent only) 'Level Up' Agents. Bringing Agents on missions in-game causes their stats (including Level) to go up, which will in turn increase their value.
Phase 5 (optional): Withdrawl to wallet - you can pull your Digital Collectible out of our custodial Stardust wallet (on Polygon) into your own crypto wallet at any time. From there you are free to sell/trade/gift on popular markets like Opensea.
